Due to the limited resources we have on the run up to races in terms of volunteer time, we are changing some of the ways we handle Transfers and Cancellations to help reduce admin time needed by volunteers.
Cancellations
Nothing will change before the online registration closes.
You can still cancel your entry and receive a full refund.
- Change – After online entries close, if you choose to cancel your entry you will receive a refund minus a £5 “admin” fee.
So you will receive £10 refunded.- This change is to encourage more entrants to attend the event.
- With less cancellations the load will be lightened for the volunteers processing them.
- Will make up for transaction processing fees.
- The “admin” fee will also apply to any refund requests on the day where the entries were made online.
- The £5 “admin” fee will still be put to the clubs charitable causes.
Transfers
Nothing will change before the online registration closes.
You can still request a transfer and have it processed.
- Change – After online entries close, you will no longer be able to transfer your entry.
- Your request will be processed as a cancellation and the above cancellation changes will be applied.
- You will receive a refund minus a £5 “admin” fee.
So you will receive £10 refunded. - The runner that you wanted to transfer your entry to will still be able to enter on the day. (Up until places run out)
